President’s Report

As Spring arrives, we look forward to completing several projects here at the Shelter designed to enhance the health and safety of our furry friends awaiting loving “Forever Homes”, the work environment of our staff and volunteers, and the comfort of those visiting the Shelter in search of a new friend to adopt.

A premiere endeavor in that effort is already underway – the installation of a new heating and ventilation system featuring modern air handlers to control the quality of air circulation at the Shelter.

The Stark Community Foundation (SCF) logo appearing above symbolizes the enduring partnership the SCF has with the Stark County Humane Society (SCHS) and all organizations dedicated to strengthening the quality of life in Stark County. SCF generously contributed to efforts to fnancially underwrite the air handler project with awards from the Margaret E. Eschliman Animal Protective Fund, the Gary W. and Olivia M. Mull Advised Fund, the James F. and Carol Luntz Charitable Fund and the Little Family Advised Fund.

We on the SCHS Board of Directors remain deeply appreciative of the generous support we continue to receive from all of you, our friends and supporters in the community, who place your confdence in us to be good stewards of the resources you unselfshly provide so that together we can continue...

“Speak for Those Who Cannot Speak for Themselves.”
